Due to the fact that applications run on our powerful servers and not on Pc's (they only display screen information) it is easy to run software like Office 2003  or SAP client on old Pentium or even 486 hardware.
That means planned investments in new hardware can wait another 2 or 3 years. This helps save money on investments that have a low ROI anyway (like almost all hardware does)

Working remotely

When working from different locations WorkingOnline is the way to go. Let's say a company has three branch offices and wants to let employees work in a consistent way, being able to access data from all locations. Also remote access from teleworkers is needed.
